format
You need to format a memory card, using the phone, before using it for the first time. This creates the necessary folders and ensures your phone can read the contents of the card.
Caution: Formatting the memory card erases all content on the card.
Find it: s> uSettings > UInitial Setup
1Scroll to Format Additional Storage Device and press Select.
2When prompted, press Yes to continue or No to cancel formatting.
Tip: To access material stored on your microSD memory card, with your phone in the home screen, press s> j Multimedia > Music > All, or press s> jMultimedia > Sounds or Pictures and then press s> Switch Storage Device. If there are no files stored on your memory card, your phone will automatically switch to its internal memory.
