Before Starting

3. Check the oil level shown on the dipstick (Figure 8).

1.Read safety instructions at begining of manual.

2.Clean the ROLLER, removing dirt and dust, particularly the engine cooling air inlet, carburetor and air cleaner.

3.Check theair filter for dirtanddust. Ifairfilterisdirty,replace air filter with a new one as required.

4.Check carburetor for external dirt and dust. Clean with dry compressedair.

5.Check fastening nuts and bolts for tightness.

Engine Oil Check

1.To check the engine oil level, place the roller on secure level ground with the engine stopped.

2.Remove the dipstick from its holder (Figure 7) and wipe it clean.

4.If the oil level is low, remove the oil filler cap (Figure 9) and fill to the safe operating level (max) as indicated by the dipstick.Fill with recommended type oil as listed inTable 4. Maximum oil capacity is 1.90 quarts (1.8 liters).
