Air/Fuel Filter Maintenance Procedures

Check the fuel filter Glocated inside the fuel tank periodically for dirt/debris build up. It is recommended to change the fuel filter every 50 tanks of fuel.

This engine is a 2-stroke gasoline engine requiring a specific fuel to oil mixture of 50:1(2%). It is recommended to use an unleaded gasoline rated at 92 octane (premium) with an oil for use on 2-stroke engines only. See Figure 22.

It is highly recommended to keep a supply of spare pre-filterson hand.Maintaining the foam pre -filter, and regular exchanges will prolong the life of the main filter element.

Every 8 hours of operation, remove the pre-air cleaner cover

and wash the foam pre-cleanerHin warm fresh soapy water. Let dry thoroughly. When dry, completely coat the filter with only an approved foam filter oil.
