MVH-120GH — PREPARATION FOR LONG -TERM STORAGE

Pump Storage

For storage of the pump for over 30 days, the following is required:

zDrain the fuel tank completely.

zRun the engine until the fuel in the injection system is completely consumed.

zCompletely drain the oil from the engine crankcase and follow procedures described in the HONDA engine Owner's Manual for engine storage.

zCompletely drain the compactor's hydraulic oil from the vibrating case.

zClean entire plate compactor, especially the bottom plate, removing all dirt and foreign matter.

zCover plate compactor and engine with plastic covering or equivalent and store in a clean, dry place.
