•Update your BIOS. Sometimes updating the BIOS will correct some
configurationproblem s.
•Configurethe PCI/PXI slot for level-triggered interrupts instead of
edge-triggered interrupts in BIOS.
Removing an Existing Adapter in Windows 95
Ifyou are replacing an existing Ethernet adapter with the PCI/PXI Ethernet
adapter, follow these steps before physically removing the adapter card.
1. Right-click My Computer.
2. SelectProperties .
3. Click the Device Manager tab.
4. Double-click NetworkAdapters.
5. Selectthe a dapter and clickRemove.
6. Click OK.
7. Followthe instructions in the s ection Installing Your PCI Board or
Installing Your PXI Board.
