Power Supply Information for the DeviceNet PortsThe bus must supply power to each DeviceNet port. The bus power supply
should be a DC power supply with an output of 10V to 30 V. The
DeviceNet physical layer is powered from the bus using the V+ and V–
lines.
The power requirements for the DeviceNet port are shown in TableB-1.
You should take these requirements into account when determining the
requirements of the bus power supply for the system.
For the PCI-CAN, a jumper controls the source of power for the DeviceNet
physical layer. The location of this jumper is shown in FigureB-4.
