Read the safety precautions on the descaling package carefully. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, machine and surrounding surfaces. Never use vinegar to descale as it can damage your machine.

1 PreParation

The machine must be off and cold. Remove water tank and drip tray.

Remove capsule holder and place hexagonal key (supplied with machine) onto the capsule cage.

Hold key in place.

Manual

To unscrew capsule cage: place capsule holder onto hexagonal key and turn capsule holder handle to the left to release capsule cage.

Automatic

Manual or Auto- matic: Take out plug, spring and washer ring.

Dissolve cleaning

Soak capsule holder

agent in 0,5 litres

in solution and leave

Dissolve desca- ling liquid in 0.5 litres of water.

Place a container (min. 0.6 litres) under coffee outlet.

Manual: Switch machine on and turn the lever on the machine to the cup position. Allow entire solution to run through coffee outlet.

or

Automatic: Switch machine on and press the large cup button. Repeat continuously until the water tank is empty.

Pour used soluti- on back into the water tank and repeat step 3.2.

Rinse water tank thoroughly and refill with fresh water.

Manual: Rinse by turning the le- ver on the machine to the cup position, and allowing a tank full of water to run through the coffee outlet.

Automatic: To rinse, press the large cup button. Repeat until the water tank is empty.

Insert capsule cage and screw it back in place by hand (anti-clockwise), as far as it will go.

Gently tighten capsule cage using hexagonal key, placed on the capsule holder.

Do not use extensive force!
