Making￿Skype￿Calls￿

The￿NT-B300￿allows￿you￿to￿make￿Skype￿calls￿from￿any￿phone￿so￿you￿can￿enjoy￿free￿ Skype-to-Skype￿calls￿wherever￿you￿go.￿You￿do￿this￿by￿calling￿the￿phone￿that￿is￿routed￿to￿ the￿gateway,￿which￿will￿then￿divert￿your￿call￿into￿an￿Internet￿call.￿In￿order￿to￿use￿this￿ function,￿you￿must￿enable￿and￿configure￿it￿as￿described￿in￿the￿setup￿above.￿

The￿Skype￿contact￿who￿you￿want￿to￿call￿must￿have￿a￿speed￿dial￿number.￿Refer￿to￿ Appendix￿B￿for￿instructions￿about￿assigning￿speed￿dial￿numbers.￿

1.￿ Call￿the￿phone￿connected￿to￿the￿gateway,￿dialing￿as￿you￿normally￿would￿if￿you￿ were￿placing￿a￿call￿to￿this￿number.￿

2.￿ After￿that￿phone￿rings￿the￿number￿of￿times￿you￿specified￿when￿you￿configured￿the￿ diverting￿function,￿the￿gateway￿will￿answer￿the￿call￿and￿prompt￿you￿for￿your￿ password.￿Enter￿the￿password￿and￿then￿press￿#.￿

3.￿ When￿you￿hear￿a￿new￿dial￿tone￿with￿a￿higher￿pitch,￿dial￿the￿speed￿dial￿number￿of￿ the￿Skype￿contact￿you￿want￿to￿call￿and￿press￿#￿to￿send￿the￿call.￿
