Select On to reduce barrel distortion in photos taken with wide- angle lenses and to reduce pin-cushion distortion in photos taken with long lenses (note that the edges of photographs may be cropped out, and that there may be an increase in the time needed to process images before they are saved). This option is available only with 1 NIKKOR lenses and not with other NIKKOR lenses attached using the FT1 mount adapter (0 198). Results are not guaranteed with third-party lenses.
