Autofocus

The Nikon F5 has two autofocus modes, Single Servo AF with Focus-Priority and Continuous Servo AF with Release-Priority. In either of these modes—and in any film advance mode—Focus Tracking automatically activates when the subject starts moving, provided you are not using Single Servo AF mode and the focus has already locked, or you are using Continuous Servo AF mode and are pressing the AE-L/AF-L button.
