Recording Movies

You can record movies by simply pressing the b(emovie-record) button.

When no memory card is inserted (i.e., when using the camera’s internal memory), the movie frame size (A56) setting is fixed at HSmall (640). GLarge (720p) is not available.

Playing and Recording

1Display the shooting screen.

•You can select the movie frame size that is recorded. The default setting is GLarge (720p) (1280 × 720) (A56).

•When recording movies, the angle of view (i.e., the area visible in the frame) is narrower compared to that of still images.

recording a movie.

• The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Focus areas are not displayed during recording.

•When movie frame size is set to GLarge (720p) (1280 × 720), the monitor display changes to a 16:9 aspect ratio when recording movies.

• Cis displayed while saving to the internal memory.
