The welcome screen is not displayed when the camera is turned on; the shooting mode or playback mode screen is displayed.

The welcome screen is displayed when the camera is turned on, then the shooting mode or playback mode screen is displayed.

Select an image

An image captured with this camera is used as the welcome screen. When the image selection screen is displayed (A 72), select the desired image and press the k button to register the image as the welcome screen.

•As the selected image is saved in the camera, the image is displayed in the welcome screen even if the original image is deleted.

•Images captured with an Image mode (A 53) setting of P 4224×2376 or m1920×1080, and image copies created using small picture (A 77) or crop (A 78) that are 320 × 240 or smaller, cannot be selected.
