Basic Photography and Playback: Easy Auto Mode

Step 1 Turn the Camera On and Select G(Easy Auto) Mode

This section describes how to take pictures in G (easy auto) mode, an automatic, “point-and-shoot” mode recommended for first-time users of digital cameras.

1Press the power switch to turn on the camera.

The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and the monitor will turn on. In this step, the lens will also open.

Proceed to step 4 when Uis displayed.

2 Press the shooting mode button.

The shooting-mode selection menu will be displayed.

3 Press the multi selector Hor Ito choose G and press k.

The camera enters G(easy auto) mode.

Monitor	Description
NO INDICATOR Batteries fully charged.

BBatteries low; prepare to replace batteries.

N	Battery	Cannot take pictures. Replace

Number of exposures remaining

The number of pictures that can be stored will be displayed.

The number of pictures that can be stored depends on the capacity of the memory or memory card and image mode setting (A64).
