In G(easy auto) mode, the camera automatically determines an appropriate shooting mode when you frame a picture, allowing you to easily take pictures using a shooting mode that suits the scene (A28).

1 Press the power switch to turn on the camera.

The power-on lamp (green) will light COOLPIX L22	COOLPIX L21
for a moment and the monitor will
turn on. The lens will extend at this
time.

Easy auto mode is set at the time of purchase. Proceed to step 4.

2 Press Ato display the shooting-mode selection menu.

3	Press the multi selector HIto choose G		Easy auto mode
	and press k.
	• The camera enters G(easy auto) mode.
4	Check the battery level and number of		Battery level indicator
	exposures remaining.
