Troubleshooting

Problem	Cause/Solution	A
Unexpected results when flash	If taking pictures with V (auto with red-eye	28, 36
set to V (auto with red-eye	reduction) or fill flash with slow sync and red-
reduction).	eye reduction when scene mode is set to Night
	portrait, In-Camera Red Eye Fix may be applied
	to areas not affected by red-eye. Use any scene
	mode other than Night portrait, and change
	the flash to any other settings other than V
	(auto with red-eye reduction) and try shooting
	again.

Playback

	File cannot be played back.	• File was overwritten or renamed by computer	–
		or other make of camera.
		• Time-lapse or interval timer photography in	57, 80
		progress: pictures cannot be played back until
		recording is complete.
	Cannot zoom in on picture.	Playback zoom cannot be used with movies,
		small pictures, or pictures that have been	–
		cropped to below 320 × 240.
Technical
	Cannot use D-Lighting,	• These options cannot be used with movies.	59
