When illuminated, the Ground OK LED on the AC-8CXindicates that the house wiring is proper-

ly grounded. If the LED does not illuminate, there is a line problem. Without a proper ground, your

AC-8CXwill not be able to provide protection from electrical surges and spikes. DO NOTOPER-

ATE YOUR AC-8CXWITHOUT APROPER GROUND.IF THE GROUND OK LED DOES NOT

ILLUMINATE, DISCONNECT THE UNIT IMMEDIATELY.

When illuminated, the LINE OK LED on the AC-8CXindicates that the wall outlet does not have a

line problem such as polarity inversion. If the LED does not illuminate, there is a line problem. This

is common, especially in older homes. Call your electrician to have the line repaired. DO NOT

OPERATE YOUR AC-8CX WITH ALINE PROBLEM. IF THE LINE OK LEDDOES NOT

ILLUMINATE, DISCONNECT THE UNIT IMMEDIATELY.

TheSwitched LED on the AC-8CX illuminates when the Power Button is activated indicating that the

Switched outlets are ON. When the Power Button is not initiated, the Switched LED does not illumi-

nate, indicating that there is no power at the Switched Outlets.
