Note: When sending messages via the SMS network service, your phone may display the words "Message
Sent". This is an indication that the message has been sent by your phone to the message centre number
programmed into your phone. This is not an indication that the message has been received at the
intended destination. For more details about SMS services, check with your service provider.
Writing and sending e-mails
You can write and send e-mails of up to 160 characters. How to store an e-mail addresses in the phone
book see Saving multiple numbers and text items per name on page 37.
1. Press Menu, and select Messages and Write e-mail.
2. Enter e-mail address or search for an e-mail address in phone book. Press OK to accept.
3. Enter subject or leave entry field blank and press OK to accept.
4. Key in an e-mail. See Writing text on page 32.

Inserting a picture template is not possible.
5. To send the message, press Options, and select Send e-mail.
6. If requested enter the service number of the e-mail server, and press OK to se nd th e e-m ail .
You will always be asked for the service number of the e-mail server if you havent entered the
number in the message settings. See Message settings on page 57.
The service number of the e-mail server depends on your local network operator or service provider.
