2Enter the first number in the calculation.

• Press to enter a decimal point and press Clear to erase any

mistakes.

• To add, press (+ appears)

• To subtract, press 2 times(- appears)

• To multiply, press 3 times(∗ appe ars)

• To divide, press 4 times(/ appears)

3Enter the second number, repeating steps as needed.

4Press Options. Equals is selected.

5Press Select.

Use the square and square root functions

You can use the calculator for finding the square of a number or the

square root of a number.

1Press Menu 6 (Calculator).

2Enter the number.

3Press Options, scroll to Square or Square root, then press Select.

SET THE EXCHANGE RATE

1Press Menu 6 (Calculator), then press Options.

2Scroll to Exchange rate, then press Select.

3Scroll to Home units converted to foreign units or Foreign units

converted to home units, then press Select.

4Press Clear to remove any numbers from the Exchange rate box.

5Enter the exchange rate (press to enter a decimal point).

6Press OK.

Note: The exchange rate remains in the phone’s memory until you

replace it.
