Security features
• Restricting calls++
This is a network service that lets you restrict the calls your phone can
make and receive. Check with your service provider for details.
Note: When calls are restricted, calls may be possible to certain
emergency numbers in some networks (such as 911 or other
official emergency number).

Turn on call restrictions

1Press Menu 4 6 3.
2Scroll through the types of calls you can restrict, and press Select
when you see the one you want.
Outgoing calls: Calls cannot be made.
International calls: Calls cannot be made to foreign countries.
International except to home country: When abroad, calls can be
made only within the current country and to your home country
(that is, the country where your home network operator is located.)
Incoming calls: Calls cannot be received.
Incoming calls if roaming: Calls cannot be received outside your
home area.
Cancel all call restrictions: Turns off all call restrictions. Calls can be
made and received in the usual way.
Note: If you selected Cancel all call restrictions, the following steps are
not available. Also, you can cancel call restrictions on each
option, allowing restrictions on other options to stay in force.
3Scroll to one of the following options:
Activate: Enter the restriction password and press OK.
Cancel: Enter the restriction password and press OK.
Status: The phone lists the call types with call restriction active.
4Press OK.
