The presence icon indicates your presence status and allows you to adjust the presence settings. The icon is visible only after you have created an account for Internet call and instant messaging services. or  that you are offline. indicates that you are

online; ad hoc WLAN connection is active;  that a packet data that you are away;  indicates how much charge is left in the battery. that you are invisible;

or Minimize and close buttons that you are offline.

Every application has the minimize and close buttons (4). indicates the level of display brightness and allows you to adjust the display settings.

Manual background indicates the volume level and allows you to adjust the master volume and other sound settings. The more bars the icon contains, the higher the volume. When the sounds are muted, the icon is Manual background. When there is an active connection between your device and an external Bluetooth headset, Manual background is displayed.

The Internet connection icon indicates the status and type of the Internet connection and allows you to open and close an Internet connection, and adjust connectivity settings.

Manual background indicates that a WLAN connection is active; Manual background that an

ad hoc WLAN connection is active; Manual background that a packet data

connection (for example, GPRS) is active; Manual background that a data call connection (for example, GSM data call) is active; Manual background

that there is no Internet connection; or Manual background that the device is in the offline mode where no connections are allowed.

Manual background indicates how much charge is left in the battery.

The more bars the icon contains, the more charge is left. To view the estimated battery time, tap the icon.

Manual background indicates that a Bluetooth connection to an external device is active, and Manual background that the Bluetooth feature is switched on, but there is no active connection at the moment.

The GPS icon is visible only on Nokia N810 Internet Tablet products that have an internal GPS receiver. The GPS icon indicates the use of GPS location data by applications and allows you to configure GPS location settings.

The GPS icon is visible only when the internal GPS receiver is switched on. Manual background indicates that the GPS receiver has found satellite signals and your location is known; Manual background, that the GPS receiver has not found satellite signals and your location is unknown; or Manual background , that the GPS receiver is trying to find satellite signals and your location is being searched.

Minimize and close buttons

Every application has the minimize and close buttons (4).

If you tap Manual background , the current application is hidden and the underlying application is shown. To bring the minimized application back to the top, tap its icon in the application switcher.
