Batteries and charging
Important battery
information Before using your rechargeable battery pack for the fi rst
time, it must be charged for at least 8 hours. This is
necessary to ensure full battery life.
Do not leave your portable or battery pack on a battery
charger for extended periods when the batteries are fully
charged.
Do not expose the battery packs to temperatures above
40°C/104°F for extended periods.
Your portable needs a rechargeable battery pack. Battery
level is shown by the J symbol on the top right of the
display. If the batteri es are v ery low, the display flashes G
and you hear warning beeps. Your programming will not
be lost if you replace your batteries.
Preparing the
chargers Connect the ac adaptor plug o f the power cable to the rear
of the chargers, then attach the ac adaptor to a power
source.
