2. There are two switches on the unit. (See Illustration B, below)
The HEAT SWITCH (left) turns on the heating element, the MAIN SWITCH (right)
turns motor ON and OFF. Make sure you have a flossing cone in hand, swi tch
to ON position.
Illustration B
Cotton candy floss should be made
within a few seconds.
3. Close dome leaving just enough room to be able to reach inside and spin th e
flossing cone. When you can visually see the cotton candy ‘web’ begin, co llect the
cotton candy on the cone by holding the cone vertically. Rotate the cone wi th your
fingers while you circle the bowl. Once cotton candy has collected on the c one,
hold the cone in a horizontal position over the extractor head while still r otating the
cone with your fingers. Continue turning the cone with your fingers while t he cone
is in the horizontal position, and move from side to side making sure you are
collecting all the cotton candy.
TIP: If floss does not adhere easily to the cone, you can spray the co ne lightly with water.
4. Turn the heat and motor OFF when all the sugar has been dispensed . Once the
extractor head has come to a complete stop, you can pour another measur e of
sugar in the extractor head and begin again. The cotton candy should be flow ing
more quickly as the unit should be sufficiently warmed up.
NOTES
Never use ingredients other than pure granulated sugar or flossing sugar. This
will cause clogging.
DO NOT overfill the sugar receptacle.
ALWAYS use the protective dome (See Illustration C, below) when using this
machine to protect spectators from hot, sugar particles that may fly out of the
extractor head.
