When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions before operating this appliance. Failure to do so could lead to
property damage or personal injury.
2. DO NOT TOUCH the hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plug or any part of this unit
in water or other liquids.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near child ren.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before removing parts for cleaning.
6. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if the app liance
has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the neares t repair shop
for examination or repair, or send back to company as stated in the warra nty
included in this booklet.
7. The appliance manufacturer does not recommend the use of accessory
attachments. This may cause injuries.
8. DO NOT use outdoors.
9. DO NOT let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter tops, or touch hot
surfaces.
10. All spectators need to be kept at a reasonable distance to prevent inj ury.
11. Operator should wear protective eyewear unless clear dome is in pla ce. For
maximum protection, always have the clear dome in place while operating this unit.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving this appliance.
13. DO NOT use the appliance for other than its intended use.
14. DO NOT leave unit unattended while in use or when plugged into an outlet.
15. Check inside heating element compartment for foreign objects before s witching to
ON position.
16. Heating element in center can get hot. Avoid contact until cool.
17. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from beco ming
entangled or tripping over a long cord. Longer detachable power supply cor ds can
be used if care is exercised in their use.
18. The marked electrical rating of an extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance.
19. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To r educe
the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one
way.
20. Keep hands away from the machine when it is in the ON position and is s pinning.
