DISPLAY SYMBOLS

The American Heart Association1 recommends the following guideline for upper limit of normal for home blood pressure readings:

AHA Home Guideline for Upper Limit of Normal BP

Systolic Blood Pressure

135 mmHg

Diastolic Blood Pressure

85 mmHg

This is a general guideline because blood pressure depends on age and morbidity. The AHA recommends a lower home blood pressure goal for certain patients, including diabetic patients, pregnant women, and patients with renal failure1.

The monitor is not intended to be a diagnostic device.

MORNING HYPERTENSION SYMBOL ( )

The Morning Hypertension Symbol is displayed if the morning average reading for a week is above 135 for the Systolic Blood Pressure value and/or 85 for the Diastolic Blood Pressure value when viewing the Morning Averages and the Evening Averages in the memory.

Omron Healthcare recommends you contact your physician if the MORNING HYPERTENSION SYMBOL and/or the HEARTBEAT SYMBOL appear on the display with your measurement values.

BP760 specifications

The Omron BP760 is a premium blood pressure monitor designed for both ease of use and accuracy. With a sleek and modern design, this device is ideal for home monitoring and is packed with features that cater to the needs of users who require regular blood pressure checks.

One of the standout features of the BP760 is the IntelliSense technology, which provides an automatic measurement process. This technology ensures that the cuff inflates to the proper level for each individual, allowing for comfortable and accurate readings without the need for manual adjustments. This user-friendly design is particularly beneficial for those who may struggle with traditional monitors that require precise cuff control.

The BP760 also boasts a large, easy-to-read display that shows not only the systolic and diastolic blood pressure values but also the heart rate. This clarity is essential for users who may be monitoring their health regularly or need to share readings with healthcare professionals. Additionally, the device comes equipped with a smart heart technology feature that detects irregular heartbeats during measurements, providing further insight into the user's cardiovascular health.

Another characteristic of the Omron BP760 is its memory function, which allows users to store up to 60 readings for two different users. This is particularly useful for couples or families who need to monitor their blood pressure and compare trends over time. The device also provides an average of the last three readings, which can help mitigate the impact of temporary fluctuations in blood pressure, giving a more reliable overall picture.

Furthermore, the BP760 features a comfortable cuff that fits a wide range of arm sizes, ensuring that users can achieve accurate readings regardless of their body type. The one-touch operation also makes it incredibly accessible, even for those who may not be particularly tech-savvy.

In summary, the Omron BP760 is a robust and user-friendly blood pressure monitor, integrating advanced features such as IntelliSense technology, irregular heartbeat detection, a large display, and a strong memory function. Its design is tailored to meet the needs of those looking for precision and convenience in monitoring their blood pressure from the comfort of their home.
