Locating a Specific Title, Chapter, or Track

DVD video disc

Normally, DVD videos are divided into titles, and the titles are sub-divided into chapters. VIDEO CDs and audio CDs are divided into tracks. You can quickly locate any specific title, chapter, or track.

1	Press TITLE.
	TITLE
	The title menu appears on the TV screen.

	TITLE 1	TITLE 2
	TITLE 3	TITLE 4

2	Press / / /	to select the
	title you want.
ENTER	If the titles in the title menu are assigned
	a number, you can directly locate a
	specific title by pressing its assigned
	number with the number buttons.

3	Press ENTER.
	ENTER
	Playback starts from chapter 1 of the
	selected title.

1			Press SEARCH.
SEARCH			Make sure that the space next to Title is
			highlighted.
			(You can shift the highlight using the
			/	buttons.)
			e.g.
				T i t l e:	1
				Chapter :	1
2 1	2	3	Press the corresponding number
4	5	6	buttons for the title you want.
7	8	9	e.g. To select title 2
+10	0
			2		T i t l e:	2
					Chapter :	1
				To select title 12
			1	2	T i t l e:	12
					Chapter : 1

3	PLAY	Press PLAY.
		Playback starts from chapter 1 of the
		selected title.

Notes:

•The instructions above describe basic procedures which may vary depending on the contents of the DVD video. If different instructions appear on the TV screen, follow those instructions.

•If you display the title menu during playback and press the TITLE button again without selecting any title, the DVD player resumes playback from the point where you first pressed the TITLE button.

•This method of locating a title is available only on a disc that contains a title menu.

•Instruction notes of discs may refer to the button that

20 displays the title menu as TOP MENU button.

Notes:

•This method of locating a title is available only on a disc that contains a title numbers.

•Pressing the CLEAR button resets the Title and Chapter numbers. To clear the Title and Chapter display, press the SEARCH button several times.
