Your AMX 2 Magnetically Shielded Stereo Speaker Sys- tem is an example of superior design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for the sys- tem so you can enjoy it for years.
•Handle the speakers gently and carefully. Dropping them can damage them and cause them to work improperly.
•Keep the speakers dry. If they get wet, wipe them dry immediately. Liquids contain minerals that can cor- rode electronic circuits.
•Wipe the speakers occasionally with a damp cloth to keep them looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the speakers.
•Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Always remove old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that destroy electronic circuits.
Modifying or tampering with the speaker system’s inter- nal components can cause a malfunction and might inval- idate the warranty. If the speakers are not performing as they should, take them to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
