OPERATION

Your AMX 2 speakers have two operational modes: am- plified (boost) or unamplified (direct). Use the boost mode with low-powered sound boards and other audio sources that have just enough power to drive a set of headphones or earphones. Use the direct mode when you connect the speakers to an audio source that has sufficient power to drive the speakers without amplification.

If the sound level is too low when using the unamplified mode with your audio source, use the the amplified mode.

USING THE UNAMPLIFIED (DIRECT) MODE

1.Turn your computer board or audio source’s volume all the way down.

2.Move the slide switch on the back of the R speaker to

OFF.

OFF

3.Turn on your audio source.

4.Adjust the volume on your audio source to a comfort- able listening level.
