Preparation
• Check if the camera is turned off.
• Close the flash.

1Attach the MC protector.
• The MC protector is a transparent
filter which affects neither the
colors nor the amount of light, so it
can always be used to protect the
camera’s lens from scratches.
• You can also attach the lens hood.
ªAttaching the lens cap
1Attach the lens cap.
• When you turn the camera off,
carry the camera or play back
pictures, attach the lens cap to
protect the surface of the lens.
• When using the MC protector, you
can also attach the lens cap.
