When you select a larger picture size [ ] (6M), you can print pictures more clearly. When you select a smaller picture size

[ ] (0.3M EZ), you can record more pictures. In addition, it is convenient to attach the picture to an e-mail or post it on a website because the file size is small.

“EZ” is an abbreviation for [Extended Optical Zoom]. This is a function which further extends the optical zoom ratio. If you select a picture size with EZ displayed, the zoom ratio is extended to a maximum of 4.1k when the digital zoom is set to [OFF]. (P71)

In the motion picture mode [ ], the picture size is fixed to 640k480 pixels (VGA) or 320k240 pixels (QVGA).

Pictures may appear like a mosaic depending on the subject or the recording condition.

The number of recordable pictures depends on the subject.

The number of remaining pictures displayed on the screen may not correspond with recorded frames.
