Play

1 Open the lid.

2 Insert a disc and close the lid.

Click into place

Play

Load double-sided discs so the label for the side you want to play is facing up.

[RAM] Remove discs from their cartridges before use.

3 Press and hold. 4 Adjust the volume.

The unit turns on and play begins.

≥While stopped, the unit automatically turns off once 15 minutes (after approximately 5 minutes when using the battery pack) have elapsed.

≥Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press [∫, –OFF]when you finish to preserve the unit’s motor.

≥Total title number may not be displayed properly on iR/iRW.

≥If you are experiencing problems, refer to troubleshooting guide (➜ page 24).

Main unit operations

	ON			Press and hold and the power comes on and play
			Turn unit on/play
				begins.
			Pause	Press [1, ON] to restart play.
				The position is memorized when “!” flashes on
				the screen.
				≥Press [1, ON] to resume.
		OFF		≥[DVD-V]While the message is displayed,
			Stop	press [1, ON] and the previous chapters are
				reviewed.
				Opening the lid, or pressing [∫, –OFF]while “!”
				is flashing cancels the memorized position where
				play stopped.
8			Turn unit off	Press and hold until “OFF” is displayed.
