(2)Check that there is enough room (15.7 in. (40 cm)) to recline the unit.
Lower the Legrest Prior to Sitting Down
• Do not sit down when the legrest is raised. Doing so may result in injury due to the chair tipping over.
To lower the legrest…
Pull the legrest slide lever, make sure the legrest is fully retracted, then press 
twice to return the legrest to its lowest position.
