Sincethe headandcapstanassemblieSarein contactwiththetape,dirtand

residuefromthe tapemayeasilyadhereto theseparts,causingdistortion.

Thesepartsshouldbe cleanedperiodicallyin the mannerdescribedbelow.

Cleanthe headsurface,pinchrollerand capstanwitha cottonswab.lf thesesurfacesare extremelydirty,wipethemwiththe cottonswab dampenedwithalcohol,thenwipethemwitha dry softcloth.

Cassettetape
