2.3Connecting Extensions

Extension jacks can be used for proprietary telephones (PTs), Direct Station Selection (DSS) Consoles, single line telephones (SLTs), and Voice Processing Systems.

Notes

•Connect a display-equipped proprietary telephone (PT) to extension jack 01, as this extension is automatically designated as the manager extension.

•For KX-TEB308, 4 extension jacks out of 8 can be used for SLTs*1 only. The following table shows the extension jack types.
