ExamineYourOven

Unpackoven,removeall packingmaterial,and examinethe oven for any damagesuchas dents,brokendoorlatchesor cracksin the door.Notifydealerimmediatelyif ovenis damaged.DO NOT installif oven is damaged.

Remove ProtectivePlastic Film

lf a plasticfilmhasbeenwrappedaroundthe ovento protect the paintedfinishfromscratchingduringshipping,please removethisplasticfilmpriorto usingthe oven.(However,all ovensdo not haveplasticfilmwrapping.)

Placementof Oven

1.Oven mustbe placedon a flat,stablesurfaceFor.proper operation,the ovenmusthavesufficientairflow.Allow

3-inchesof spaceon bothsidesof the ovenand 1-inchof spaceon top of oven.

a. DO NOT blockairvents.lf theyare blockedduring operation,the ovenmayoverheatlf. the ovenoverheats,

athermalsafetydevicewillturnthe ovenoff.Theoven will remaininoperableuntilit hascooled.

b. DO NOT placeoven neara hot dampsurfacesuchas a gas or electricrange.

c. DO NOToperateovenwhenroomhumidityis too high.

GroundingInstructions

This appliancemustbe groundedIn. the eventof an electrical shortcircuit,groundinoreducesthe riskof electricshockby providingan escapewirefor the electriccurrentThis. applianceis equippedwitha cordhavinga groundingwire with a groundingplug.The plugmustbe pluggedintoan outletthat is properlyinstalledand grounded.

WARNING-Improperuseof the groundingplugcan resultin a riskof electricshock.

WiringRequirements

1.The ovenmustbe pluggedintoat leasta 15 AMP 120 VOLT,60Hz GROUNDEDOUTLET .

Wherea standardtwo-prongoutletis encountered,it is the personalresponsibilityand obligationof the userto haveit replacedwitha properlygroundedthree-prong outlet(Fig .1) .
