Commercial Skip
By pressing CM/ZERO in Playback mode you can skip over 1, 2, or 3 minutes of recorded tape as desired.
1 Press CM/ZERO repeatedly to select skip time in Playback mode.

Auto Playback
Insert a tape in Power off mode.
Power turns on, → Play.
Note:
• Playback begins if tape has no record tab.
Auto Rewind
(except for Recording)
Tape reaches its end
Rewind, → Stop.
Playback Auto Eject
(Repeat Play must be “OFF”)
Tape with no record tab reaches its end
Rewind, → Stop, → Eject.
Digital Auto Tracking
Continuously analyzes the signal and adjusts for optimum picture quality.
Manual Tracking Control
Use during Playback and Slow Motion mode to reduce picture noise. Press the 3 or 6 number key on the remote control or CH ▲▼ on the unit until the picture clears up. To return to Auto Tracking, press POWER off, then on again a few seconds later.
V-Lock Control
In Still mode, the 3 or 6 number key on the remote control or CH ▲▼ on the unit operate as a
VCR Lock
All operations are prohibited except Timer recording and tape eject. Useful for families with small children.
In Stop mode, hold down REC on the unit without a cassette inserted for 7 seconds to turn “ON.”
(Please ignore “NO CASSETTE” warning.)
VCR LOCK ACTIVATED
Repeat above with or without cassette to turn “OFF.”
