If your TV has AUDIO IN and VIDEO IN terminals, you can connect your VCR to them to receive higher quality picture and sound.

VCR Plus+ System is ...
This feature sets most items of a Timer Recording when you enter a PlusCode programming number found in TV GUIDE and selected newspaper TV listings.
Initial Setup.....
To use VCR Plus+ system, clock and channels must be set (p. 4 of “Basic Operations” book).
Broadcast
marks start and end points of commercials within recordings over 15 minutes long. The VCR automatically advances through marked commercials at high speed. Or, you may

marked recordings can be played back so that commercial blocks are advanced through automatically or manually.
Playback
helps you locate certain parts of prerecorded movies (rented or purchased).
The feature works in two ways.

Broadcast/ cable stations are assigned a VCR Plus+ (GUIDE CH) number. See the Channel Listing (directory) page of TV GUIDE, etc. In the Channel Setup below, you will be entering your local channel number (RECEIVE CH) for each GUIDE CH number.
Example : if NBC’s assigned GUIDE CH were 05, and your TV received NBC on channel 04, you would enter 04 across from GUIDE CH 05 in step 3 of “VCR Plus+ System Channel Setup”.

are frequent dark and quiet scenes in the |
program. To correct, press PLAY during the |
skip, rewind tape to just prior to where skipping |
started, then press PLAY again for normal |
playback. When the end of the commercials is |
detected, auto advance will resume. |
