Disconnecting the USB Cable Safely

Double-click the [ ] icon on the task tray.

Select [USB Mass Storage Device] and then click [Stop].

Check that [MATSHITA SD Multi Camera USB Device] is selected and then click [OK].

4Click [Close] to close the dialogue.

• You can disconnect the USB cable safely.

Depending on the OS (Windows 98SE or Me, etc.), the icon for safe removal may not be displayed in the task tray. (There will be no display depending on the setting on the OS.) Make sure that the Card Access Lamp of this unit is turned off and then remove the USB cable.

If you detach this unit or disconnect the USB cable from the USB cradle, or turn this unit off while the PC is working, an error dialog box may appear. In such cases, click [OK] to close the dialog box.

When your OS is Macintosh, discard the icon of [untitled] or [NO_NAME] disc in [Trash] and then disconnect the USB cable.
