The housing is designed with a protective front cover and a clear polycarbonate window, ensuring unobstructed views while safeguarding against impact and vandalism.

Another important characteristic of the Pelco EH2500 is its effective thermal management system. The housing is engineered to maintain an optimal operating temperature for the camera, utilizing a combination of passive and active heating technologies. This ensures that the camera maintains functionality even in extreme weather conditions, making it suitable for areas experiencing high heat or severe cold.

The EH2500 supports a variety of camera sizes and types, accommodating both fixed and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras. Its adjustable mounting brackets allow for flexible installation options, making it easier for users to achieve the desired angle and position for maximum surveillance coverage.

For operators concerned about image quality, the EH2500 provides ample space for the integration of various lenses and camera configurations. This versatility allows users to select the right camera setup tailored to their specific monitoring needs, whether for large open areas or more confined spaces.

Moreover, the housing includes provisions for optional heaters and blowers to further enhance the performance of the cameras in extreme temperatures, ensuring consistent operation regardless of weather challenges.

In addition to its robust physical features, the Pelco EH2500 is designed for ease of installation and maintenance. Its user-friendly design allows for quick access to the camera for servicing without compromising its security or environmental protection.
