Taking Pictures with Digital Filters (Digital Filter Mode)

You can take pictures using a variety of digital filters.

1 Set the Mode dial to D.

The previously selected digital filter appears.

2 Use the four-way controller (23) to choose a digital filter.

You can choose from nine color filters:

B&W, Sepia, Red, Pink, Purple, Blue,

Green, Yellow and SOFT.

3 Press the 4 button.

The digital filter is selected and the screen returns to capture status.

4 Press the shutter release button halfway.

The focus frame turns green if the subject is in focus.

5 Press the shutter release button fully.

The picture is taken.

These digital filters are for use when taking still pictures. In Movie mode, you can only choose B&W or Sepia for [Color Mode] on the Movie screen on the [ARec. Mode] menu. (1p.112)

The digital filter effect can also be added after taking a still picture. (1p.137)

Continuous shooting and auto bracketing are not possible when SOFT is selected.
