The Canonet G-III has a built-in self-timer. To operate the self-timer, turn the self-timer lever in the direction of the arrow until it stops. The shutter will be released approximately 10 seconds after the shutter button has been pressed.
•The self-timer also operates when taking pictures with flash units.
•If the self-timer lever is set, do not return it to normal position. It is automatically returned, after the picture is snapped.
