Setting the Shake Reduction for Still Pictures

To use the shake reduction function for still pictures (p.52), you need to set [Shake Reduction] to On in the [A Rec. Mode] menu.

1	Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
2	The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.
2	Use the four-way controller (23) to		Rec. Mode
	select [Shake Reduction].
3	select [Shake Reduction].		EV Compensation	±0.0
	Use the four-way controller (45) to		Movie
	Use the four-way controller (45) to		Shake Reduction
	select O (On)/P (Off).		Digital Zoom
	select O (On)/P (Off).		Instant Review	1sec
	On:	(Shake Reduction On) is displayed	Memory
	On:	(Shake Reduction On) is displayed
	on the capture screen.		MENU Exit
	on the capture screen.
4	Off:	(Shake Reduction Off) is displayed on the capture screen.
4	Press the shutter release button halfway.

The camera is ready to take the picture.

You can also select O(On)/P(Off) using the Green button. This function cannot be used when assigning a function other than Shake Reduction to the Green button. (1p.93)
