Zoom Playback

You can magnify an image up to eight times. A guide showing the center of the magnified portion of the image appears on the display during zoom playback.

1 Enter the Q mode and use the four-way controller (45) to choose the image you want to magnify.

2 Turn the Zoom/f/y lever towards	2.0×
y.
The image is magnified (×1.1 to ×8).
Continuing to turn the Zoom/f/y lever to
y changes the magnification continuously.

When the Quick Zoom function (p.176) is
set to O, you can magnify the image at a

You can use the guide at the bottom left of the screen to check which portion of the image is magnified.

The following operations can be performed while the magnified image is displayed.

3 Press the 4 button.

The image returns to single-image display.

•Movies cannot be magnified.

•The guide does not appear if the display mode is set to “No Info”.
