Installing the Battery

Use the battery that is provided with the camera. Charge the battery before using it in the camera for the first time.

Open the battery cover.

When you slide the battery cover out, it springs open.

Insert the side of the battery with the PENTAX logo pointing toward the back of the camera.

Close the battery cover.

Removing the Battery

Open the battery cover. Slide the battery out.
