When possible, we recommend using the PXHVW2 harness and install the iPod2car behind the radio. This will avoid the possibility of inherent noise problems with the factory VW CD changer cable that is found in some vehicles.
Double DIN (4” Tall) VW radios have a new connector that is not yet available. In these cases, you must use the PXHVW1 and install the iPod2car interface in the factory CD changer location. If you encounter the aforementioned inherent noise problem with the VW CD changer cable, please visit: www.iPod2car.com for a technical bulletin that will instruct you on how to eliminate the noise.
