Set Up:

•Choose one fabric for the embroidered center panel and hoop four inches down from the top. Be sure to line up one of the 18” sides with the guide on the right side of the hoop.

•Select design # 10.

•Using the Mettler poly sheen multi thread and following the directions for continuous embroidery, embroider the design twice.

•Trim embroidered panel to 6 ½” x 15 ¼”, centering the design.

•Cut two border strips out of the contrasting fabric 2 ¼” x 15 ¼”.

•Cut a backing piece of fabric of your choice 8” x 15 ¼”.

Construction:

1.Using the ¼” Right Guide foot and general sewing thread, stitch the border pieces to the top and bottom of the embroidered panel.

2.Press both seams to the darker fabric.

3.Switch to the Decorative Trim Foot.

4.Stitch decorative ribbon either just inside or on top of both border seams. For this you can use a decorative thread or a thread that matches the
