答: TFT LCD 屏幕是透过液晶双重折射放进内部光亮的元素控制器/显示器。它利用内部光折 射至液体元素主轴的这一特性,控制内部光的方向、将光显示出来。由于液晶上内部光的折射 比率随光的内部角度变化,TFT 的视角比 CDT 的视角更窄。通常,视角指对比度为 10 的角 度点。目前有许多扩大视角的开发途径。最常用的方法为利用广视角片,透过变换折射比率来 扩大视角。IPS(面内开关)或 MVA(多项垂直校准)也被用来扩大视角。飞利浦 181AS 型使 用的则是先进的 IPS 技术。

问: LCD显示器如何没有闪光?

答:从技术上说,LCD 也闪动,不过这个现象的原因与 CRT 显示器的不同—它并不妨碍视觉 舒适感。LCD 的闪光指正负极电压差造成的一般不易觉察的发光。另一方面,伤害眼睛的 CRT 闪光是由于荧光物体的闪/灭动作变得显而易见而造成的。既然 LCD 屏幕的液晶反应速度 较慢,这种讨厌的闪光现象不存在于 LCD 显示器。
