Einen UL-zugelassenen Kabelsatz mit mindestens 18 AWG, Typ SVT oder SJT mit drei Leitungen benutzen. Das Kabel sollte höchstens 5 m lang sein und einen Erdungsstecker mit zwei parallelen Zinken für 15 A, 125 V haben.

Für auf 230 Volt eingestellte Geräte:

Einen UL-zugelassenen Kabelsatz mit mindestens 18 AEG, Typ SVT oder SJT mit drei Leitungen benutzen. Das Kabel sollte höchstens 5 m lang sein und einen Erdungsstecker mit Tandemzinken für 15 A, 250 V haben.
