5ms on/off response time
On-Off response time is the period required for a liquid
crystal cell to go from active (black) to inactive (white)
and back to active (black) again. It is measured in
milliseconds. Faster is better: Lower response time means
faster transitions and, therefore, results in fewer visible
image artifacts in the display of transition of texts and
graphics. On-Off response time is a more important
measure in the display of business content like
documents, graphs and photos.

Energy Star
Energy Star-labeled home electrical products are
designed to use less energy - saving you money while
reducing environmental pollution. In fact, Energy Star-
compliant products consume less than 1 watt of power
while in standby mode. As an Energy Star partner, Philips

for energy efficiency. This is achieved by having low
standby power consumption through innovatively
designed standby circuitry and stringent selection of
components made with high efficiency materials.
Compliant with RoHS standards

compliance with strict Restriction of Hazardous
Substances (RoHS) standards that restrict lead and other
toxic substances that can harm the environment.
Adjustable tilt
Adjustable tilt is backward and forward movement of a
screen on its base to achieve custom positioning for an
ideal viewing angle and more comfort for people who
spend long hours working on the computer.
Embedded power supply
An embedded power supply is a power adaptor built into
the body of a display device that replaces a bulky external
power adaptor.
sRGB ready
sRGB is an industry standard that ensures the best
possible match between the colors displayed on your
screen and those in your printouts.
Kensington lock compatible
Small apertures built into the display's frame for use with
a locking device that secures a display to a fixed object
for added protection against theft.
