9 Install system devices

Before installing a System SmartCard or System Box, disconnect TV from mains.
9.1System Smartcard

Not applicable for 22 inch models.
1.Insert the SmartCard into the SmartCard slot on the back of the TV.
2.Connect the cables as instructed by the system provider.
3.Switch on the TV.
9.2System Box
1.Insert the RJ12 cable of the System box to the DATA 1 connector on the back of the TV.

2.Connect the cables as instructed by the system provider.
3.Switch on the TV.
9.3Set communication source
The default setting for COMMUNICATION in the SETUP menu is OFF. If a SystemCard or System Box is used with this TV, then you must set to the correct communication link.
1.Enter SETUP menu.
2.Press ï to select COMMUNICATION.
3.Press Æ to enter COMMUNICATION.
4.Press Æ to select the correct link.

5.Press ï to select ENABLE CARD SLOT.
6.Press Æ to select YES.
