Chain Dialling

Extremely long telephone numbers can be dialled from a combination of several memory buttons. What you need to do first is to store the long telephone number separately in chunks into any Direct or Indirect memory buttons. Each memory button can store up to 16 digits.

Take a number like 001234567890. You can chop it into 3 chunks. First, you store “001” into Direct memory (M1), then “234” into (M2) and finally “567890” into Indirect memory (digit “1”).

To dial 001234567890:

1.Lift the handset or press once the Speaker On/Off button.

2.Press M1, then M2 and finally Phonebook button and digit “1”.

Mixed Mode Dialling

If you use “pulse” dialling but have to change to DTMF “tone” dialling temporarily (eg. for telephone banking purpose), press the * button after the call is connected to the DTMF network. During this period, all the dial keys will be “tone” generated. “Pulse” mode will be resumed after you disconnect the call.
